What a year 2019 was!

Travels included New York, NY; Krakow, Poland; Alagna, Italy; Zermatt, Switzerland; Lucerne, Switzerland; Zurich, Switzerland; Santa Cruz, Tenerife; Las Palmas, Gran Canaria; Ghent, Belgium; Vienna, Austria; London, England; Riyadh, Saudi Arabia; Belo Horizonte, Brazil and Rio de Janiero, Brazil!

I was interviewed for two epic podcasts. (find the links in the Media section).

I was interviewed for exciting new documentaries about Max Steiner and Bernard Herrmann, plus for the just-released Blu-ray of Basil Poledouris’ RoboCop.

I was also interviewed about two Jerry Goldsmith classics for a pair of upcoming special Blu-ray releases.

We launched Wojciech Kilar’s Dracula: Live In Concert in Krakow in May and then again in Tenerife in September.

My debut recording for Sony Classical, “Cinema Morricone: An Intimate Celebration,” featuring Sara Andon on flute and Simone Pedroni on piano, was released in May. We then followed the release with recitals in Italy and The Canary Islands! More recitals to come!

Now here we are in 2020 and we are launching the Robert Townson Productions website! Thank you to everyone who has been part of this epic film music adventure over any part of the last 30 years! We all share a great and beautiful passion for this incredible music and all our composers. So many big changes in the film music world.

At the dawn of this new decade, we all step forward into a new era for film music!
